Along with Shira he is one of the two most talented Raalin for a very important mission: infiltrating the Human space defence base Aleph. Gen is less sophisticated than Shira, but he is more inventive. But it's not sure who will be selected for the mission. They will have to go through an unknown test on their home planet, Tyroon, after which their master, Irr'zai, will decide who will go on that mission. When the mission on Aleph starts, Gen will be wearing a cloaking device that will make him look like a robot. Humans will not be able to determine that he is really Raalin. Although he is sixty years old, this does not mean that he is to be considered "old" in any way. Raalin reach an average age of 283, so they think of Gen as a very young Raalin. Proceed to Shira.
